  “A true nightmare. You will be lied to. There is a real chance your car will be damaged beyond what you brought it in for. If you have a car there now ask for documentation for any parts, start collecting paperwork, you will need it later. Most importantly get it out of there! I have had good luck at Hunts.   “My family and I were vacationing in the Lake George Region during the Labor Day holiday when I thought the transmission in my Chevy Tahoe went on me. The local mechanic in town took a quick look at it, couldn't figure out the problem and suggested I take it to ABC Transmissions. Though it was a bit of a hike, and I;m sure there were transmissions shops closer to where I was, the local mechanic couldn't have done me a bigger favor for recommending this place. The owner Al, a highly trustworthy and skilled mechanic, diagnosed and fixed the problem in 20 minutes! Being an out-of-towner, he could have told me my transmission was shot and I would have believed him. But being the honest person that he is, he quickly diagnosed the problem as being electrical and got my family and I home safely during our 250 mile drive home. And for an extremely reasonable price! Al is the best and you should go to ABC Transmission shop for all your vehicle needs, not just transmissions. They're honest, fair and really know what they're doing. Thanks again Al! ”

They turned it around within 2 days and were able to get me a rental car so I could get around too. His pricing was fair, I went to another shop for an estimate and they wanted $400 more. ”

  “I own a 1999 Cadillac Escalade & was experiencing growling or whining noise W/vibration as the rpm's increased & decreased,so much so that it got so loud I had to figure out what this noise was.I first thought that it could be the tires,but replaced them all & still the noise was there.I got a referance from a very good friend to go to Sharp Transmission.What a great experience I had!!!The guys were very helpful & found the problem very quickly.Bad rear transfer case.I dropped it off for Monday & they told me it could take up to Friday to get it done. I got my vehicle back Wednesday afternoon,noise gone & the cost wasnt as bad as I thought it would have been.I was so pleased I would give them MORE than 3 stars.GREAT JOB GUYS!!!”
